U15 Hornets Premiership

Congratulations to the U15 Hornets, 20224/25 Premiers !

After finishing the season strong several excellent batting and bowling performances in the last 5 round, the boys finished the season 2nd on the ladder and took out the grand final in convincing fashion with a 70 run win over Cockburn.

U14 Jets Premiers

Congratulations to the U14 Jets, Premiers in 2024/25 !

After finishing the season in 3rd place, the Jets took out the grand final with a 17 run win over Leeming. Congratulations on a fantastic season and excellent finals performance.

U15 Girls Premiership

Congratulations to the U15 Lightning for their fantastic performance this year. Going through the season undefeated and taking out the Grand Final is a legendary effort.

Bicton Players in SSWA State Cricket Teams

Congratulations to our six amazing BJCC players who have made the final squads for SSWA State Cricket teams.

The U/15 teams will play in Makay in August / September, while the U/12 carnival is in Adelaide in November / December.

We wish you all every success during the carnivals and hope you have a great time. What a fantastic achievement by all six of you !

2023/24 Premiers

Congratulations to our two premiership teams for the 2023/24 season

U/17 Jets who won the SWMJCC U/17 premiership with a great win over Kardinya. The final score was Bicton 5-153 vs Kardinya 69.

U/14 Bombers who defeated the Bicton Spitfires 9-192 vs 122 in the SWMJCC U/14 Gold grand final.

Congratulations to both teams on their great seasons and their premiership wins !

KAI-FELLA

The Kai-Fella Foundation charity raises suicide awareness, helps young people build emotional muscle and communicate more openly through school-based programs. This is an outstanding cause and has already provided workshops for almost 10,000 young people in Western Australia. The charity is committed to creating even more change and our inaugural Ball in 2023 raised an amazing $115,000. We are saving lives!This will be a yearly event and we are holding the 2nd Kai Fella Charity Ball on the 10th of February 2024 at Optus Stadium. We would love to see some new faces at next year’s Ball, as well as promote the growth of or charity.

Bakers Delight – New Bronze Sponsor

We are delighted to announce that Fred, Narelle and the Team at Baker’s Delight Myaree have joined the BJCC as a Bronze sponsor. Fred has been a supporter of many local junior sporting teams around the community and the BJCC is very fortunate to have his support for the next 3 years.

Each team has been allocated a Bakers Delight Myaree voucher for every game that Coaches and/or Team Managers can use to recognise anything related to cricket. It could be best trainer, classic catch, a hatrick, a great team mateship moment or an outstanding game.

The BJCC Committee have delivered enough vouchers to each Team Manager household this week so you can use one of the vouchers for this week’s game. At this stage you will have an allocation for the next 5 games – Bakers Delight will then be printing more vouchers to see us through to the end of the season. Feel free to send a photo through to Trevor: vice_president@bictonjcc.com.au of your recipient so we can share on the club Facebook and Instragram accounts.
