The Bicton Junior Cricket Club endorse and adopt Australian Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children and Young People, Australian Cricket’s ‘Looking After Our Kids’ Code of Behaviour for Affiliated Associations and Clubs, and Australian Cricket’s Commitment to Safeguarding Children and Young People, effective as at 13th September 2022.
Bicton Junior Cricket Club exists for our junior cricketers. Our club has at its heart a fantastic group of kids playing in the various junior cricket formats from 5 year olds through to under 17’s.
Current and past committee members and our larger parent group have helped shape our club into a rewarding, progressive, and most importantly safe environment for our girls and boys to enjoy playing this great game.
To ensure that we stay current with the latest child safety in sport practices and working with children guidelines we have enlisted a dedicated Child Safety Officer and Member Protection Information Officer, our current club Secretary, Di Hartwell.
